HIV & AIDS

HIV/AIDS is a growing concern among the Sri Lankan population. At present there are 8,500 adults living with AIDS and hundreds die every year. NCEASL recognizes that there is a need to educate the public on this subject, especially the youth. "Project Positive" was launched with this purpose in mind. Various awareness programs were launched throughout the country and the aim was to convey the topic of HIV/AIDS in a way that people would understand and remember it.
