Standing Strong through the Storm Seminar in Anuradhapura

27 – 28 June 2007 - “I was apprehensive on how to carry out my ministry within the community I am living in. God has spoken to my heart through this seminar and He has showed me how...” said a Pastor who attended the seminar.

Over 100 Pastoral workers participated in the Standing Strong Through the Storm (SSTS) seminar conducted in Anuradhapura.  The sessions focused on understanding how to face persecution and how to stand strong during times of suffering.  People from different backgrounds were present, including Pastors serving in areas other than Anuradhapura.

Persecution is not a new subject to some of them. The Churches in the Anuradhapura region have undergone persecution in the past, as such, many of them found this seminar very useful. “I thank God. Through this seminar I understood what the kingdom of God is and how to carry out my ministry.”
