Southern Pastors’ Family Retreat in Hikkaduwa

20 - 22 September 2007 - 156 adults and 61 children were present at the Family Retreat for Pastors’ families living in the South. The retreat was held in Hikkaduwa. Rev. Philip Dupont from Denmark was the guest speaker and he spoke on “The Power and the Dynamic of the New Covenant.”  NCEASL’s Missions Coordinator gave a comprehensive overview of the vision and the mission of NCEASL, and the HIV/AIDS Programme Coordinator delivered a session on HIV/AIDS. Many testimonies were shared and the programme gave the Pastors encouragement and brought unity between the different churches.

There was also a children’s programme which was conducted by one of the Programme Assistants in the Children’s Department.
