Pastors’ seminar at Kandy Light House Church

A pastor’s seminar was organized in collaboration with BTTB and NCEASL at the Lighthouse Church in Kandy, on Monday 17th November, 2008.  The Assistant Missions Coordinator along with two others represented NCEASL at this seminar. Prof. Edison from India was the main resource person at this seminar. A book stall, run by NCEASL was also run simultaneously with the seminar. 75 pastors & leaders participated at this programme and the sessions were conducted in both Sinhala and Tamil.  The worship team of the Lighthouse Church, along with a member of NCEASL led the gathering in a time of worship before the seminar started.
The topics for the sessions were

• Who is a Christian Minister?
• What is his calling?
• What does God expect from him?
• What do the people expect of him?
• His responsibility towards people, finances, property etc. which is entrusted to him?

The sessions began at 9.30 am and were over by 3 pm the same day.
