Appreciation Program in Jaffna

 Jaffna has been ravaged both by the war and the
tsunami. In a region where 85% are
Hindus and only 15% of them are considered Catholics and Protestants, doing
God’s work / ministering has proved to be a daunting task. Yet 120 Pastors were
acknowledged and appreciated for their tireless work in Jaffna, by NCEASL on
the 4th of January 2008 in Jaffna.
120 pastors and 16 NCEASL staff
members attended this programme which was held at the Bastian hotel in Jaffna.
The pastors were given a voucher for Rs. 2000 towards their personal use and
for their families.
