Shelter
On 02 June 2006 Alliance Development Trust provided temporary shelters for 250 families in the Kathiravely School . Among them were 218 students, 39 nursing mothers and 2 pregnant women.

Housing Projects
The Housing project in Amanthanaveli, Batticaloa is processing as scheduled, even through there were few issues the project encountered out of the planned 364 houses in Amanthanveli, work on 125 houses has begun.

Psychosocial Project
During the months of January and February 2006 much emphasis was placed on training volunteers. In Jaffna intense training sessions were held. Presently Jaffna has 5 Change Makers Clubs, Which are up and running.

Press Release
The Evangelical Fellowship of Asia "EFA" together with the Alliance Development Trust (Relief and Development commission of the National Christian Evangelical Alliance of Sri Lanka) sent a 20 foot container of blankets and clothing for distribution among the survivors of the earthquake that ravaged Pakistan on 08 October 2005. The massive quake killed over 54,000 people and left thousands homeless.
