Keepers of the Kingdom | Kids Camp 2023
Following a three-year hiatus since the last Kids Camp in 2019 due to various national crises, the NCEASL returned to host Kids Camp again. The recently concluded camp was held from the 28th to the 30th of September 2023 in Thulhiriya, with over 100 enthusiastic Evangel Care scholarship beneficiaries aged 06 to 19.
U.S. Ambassador Visits NCEASL Office to Discuss Religious Freedom in Sri Lanka
On 12 September 2022, the U.S. Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Ms Julie Chung, visited the NCEASL office and met with its leadership, including the General Secretary, Deshamanya Godfrey Yogarajah, Associate Secretary General, Ms Yamini Ravindran, and Director for Relief and Development, Mr Raghu Balachandran.
The NCEASL Supports 1000 Families
In December 2021, the NCEASL initiated the ‘Bearing Gifts’ project, which involved providing specialised gift packs to 1000 families of pastors and ministry workers across Sri Lanka.
Teaching Hospital, Jaffna Supported through the SAVE LIVES Campaign
Through the 'SAVE LIVES' campaign initiated together with our relief and development arm, the Alliance Development Trust (ADT), the NCEASL and ADT donated vital medical equipment needed to treat those affected by COVID-19 to the Teaching Hospital, Jaffna.

In May 2021, the NCEASL and our relief and development arm, the Alliance Development Trust (ADT), initiated the ‘SAVE LIVES’ campaign to meet the shortage of vital medical equipment and to support our healthcare system to combat the rapid rise of COVID-19 in the country.
‘Switch On’ Awarded 2nd Runner Up at the 2021 Religious Freedom Film Competition
The NCEASL together with MinorMatters were awarded 2nd Runner Up at the 2021 Religious Freedom Film Competition sponsored by the Religious Freedom & Business Foundation (RFBF) and Empower Women Media (EWM).

The COVID-19 crisis has impacted our nation in more ways than one. The current travel restriction imposed in the country has hindered the livelihood of many, challenging their basic means of survival.

Awarded 4th place at the Intercultural Innovation Award 2019, a partnership between the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and the BMW group, RLC's Rewind; Rebuild initiative was chosen for this award among 1200 global applicants.
